BREEDING MARES
Our broodmare band is very small, and this suits our small breeding program so we can concentrate on the competition horses. Our aim is to retain some of our fillies for future breeding and incorporate new blood into our mare selection by campaiging horses for the Oaks Stud. Ideally our mares are sport horses and our breeding program is focused around embyro transfer.
Oaks Dreamtime was purchased from Oaks Sport Horses from the age of 18 months. As a jumping horse and breeding mare she has been irreplaceable. Oaks Dreamtime took out WA Young Jumping Horse at the age of four, she then went on to win her age group at Jumping with the Stars as a 5yr and 6yr. From here Dreamtime took out many futurity and Mini Prix classes competing at Sydney Royal Easter Show and placing in the Futurity and Mini Prix classes at Elysian Fields. Oaks Dreamtime is the dam of several youngstock. These include:

Viva i an imported mare carrying the impressive bloodlines off Vingino, Chellano Z and Ramiro Z. She joined our broodmare heard in 2024 and we are excited to see what she can produce for Riverwood Lodge in the coming years.
Colmay RL
Colmay competed up to 1.20m classes before retiring to breeding duties. She was Runner Up 5yr at the WA Young Horse Championships. Colmay had a good amount of blood, a very elegant mare with a sharp technique. She is the dam of:

Steinhart Annabelle joined our mare heard at the age of 14. She is the dam of Pabello (now owned by Overton Showjumping) who is sired by Pico Bello. Since returning to Riverwood Lodge she has produced us two stunning foals. Annabelle now has a very important role at West Coast Vets ensuring our breeding stallion collections go smoothly.
